After School Tutor Program
Each week we serve over 50 students, helping with their homework, reading and now an English tutor as well. This program enables us to stay connected with our scholarship kids and neighboring youth that need addtional school support. The afterschool tutor class meets the needs of students, along with giving the community a place to come together to support their youth. This program is so successful that kids and parents have created a dance club and other social activities with one another.
Funds that support the tutor program go to the countless hours of classroom tutoring, additional educational supplies, crafts, and snacks.
