Empowering Youth
DOXA serves through education by providing students from the greater Tijuana area scholarships to attend school, after school tutor program, and summer day camp. After years of building houses helping to support families in need, in 2007, DOXA expanded its opportunities by serving the educational needs of youth in this community. Often children in this area do not attend school. If they do attend, they have little support for their learning. Seeing this need and with the help of local educators DOXA is now able to empower youth through opportunities of learning through scholarships, afterschool tutoring and summer day camp.
